Marlon Wayans New braunfels Concert reviews
Started Late, but Marlon was on for a long time.
The show was supposed to start at 7:30pm. The show started 45 minutes late. The first act came out and was funny, but only commenced on life as a homosexual person. There's nothing wrong with that, but it was the only topic covered by said comedian, and she was only out on stage for 15 minutes. The second comedian came out and was only on stage for about 15-20 minutes. Then there was in intermission for 25 minutes (was supposed to be 10). Then the female comedian comes back out to introduce Marlon, and starts a 5 minute argument with elderly women about why Marlon had not shown up yet. She used very harsh language on these elderly ladies. So, if you are keeping track, Marlon did not come out till about 9:15pm. However, Marlon did entertain on stage until about 10:15pm. But dang, we should have arrived at 9:00 (1.5 hours late, like some other patrons did). But I guess I was not prepared for the impromptu scheduling, with no warning. I guess I expected more from an Actor, Writer, Director. If Marlon was directing this event, would he allow such gross time lapses? I'm not sure, but this is the only non-movie that I have supported, so I guess I have learned something.
